Ben Tre Bicycle Parade for Environmental Protection
On January 14th, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ben Tre Province, the People’s Committee of Ben Tre City, the Ben Tre Tourism Association, and the Coconut Land Culinary Association jointly organized a bicycle parade with the theme “Green Tourism.”

This activity is part of the 2025 Coconut Land Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Culinary Festival.
The parade featured a vibrant and diverse group of 125 cyclists, including local government leaders, representatives from the tourism industry, travel companies, union members, youth, women, tour guides, and many others. The broad participation emphasized the community’s collective commitment to promoting sustainability and healthy living through cycling.
The parade route commenced at the Ben Tre City Tourist Wharf in My Thanh An Commune, located in the heart of Ben Tre City. The cyclists followed Au Co Street, riding through scenic views, before reaching the Rach Vong Bridge. After crossing this landmark, the parade returned to the starting point at the tourist wharf, completing the 3.5-kilometer journey.

This activity is a powerful way to communicate important messages about environmental protection, advocating for a healthier lifestyle, and showcasing the distinctive cultural and tourism identity of the Coconut Land. By choosing cycling as a central theme, the event promoted a cleaner, greener way of living while drawing attention to the natural beauty of the region.
Additionally, the event offered a wonderful opportunity to introduce the dynamic, innovative, and welcoming image of Ben Tre Province to a wider audience. The festive atmosphere, filled with smiles and energy, not only engaged local residents but also left a positive impression on visitors, both from Vietnam and abroad. It helped foster a deeper connection between the province and tourists, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the unique culture, landscapes, and traditions of the Coconut Land.
